Group financial Controller (m/f)


We are seeking a highly skilled and qualified Group Financial Controller to spearhead the
Group’s financial systems and practices, ensuring financial information is timely, accurate, complete
and compliant with relevant accounting and taxation principles.

This pivotal role requires a qualified controller with experience in managing accounting, tax, and
financial aspects, essential for scaling our business effectively.

The role includes Working across multiple entities with diverse operations. Manage responsibilities
of the finance team and support staff.

Roles And Responsibilities

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial reporting
Ensure timely, accurate, and useful financial and management reporting to the company’s
leadership, BOD and shareholders while maintaining adherence to financial regulations and
reporting requirements.

- Build a Budget and monitor it on a monthly basis
- Develop and standardize the financial reporting package
- Support revenue recognition and costing processes
- Build and maintain financial processes and controls as the business grows
- Review tax returns and statutory financial reports of the group`s entities
- Support IT projects related to financial management


Language Proficiency: Fluent in Slovene, with in-depth knowledge of Slovene tax laws and reporting requirements, essential for managing local compliance and financial operations effectively.

Minimum of 5+ years as an controller in a global multi-company organization, with a robust understanding of financial management and compliance.

Global Exposure: Significant experience working in a global environment, understanding diverse financial regulations and practices.

Technical Skills:

Strong Excel and office skills are essential for data analysis and reporting.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are required.

Attributes: Self-motivated, ability to work autonomously, and a detail-oriented, problem-solving
mindset is a must.

Team Player: Service-oriented approach, collaborating seamlessly within a team to achieve
collective goals.
